We made it to Zhengzhou!

We arrived yesterday into Zhengzhou,
the capital city of Henan Province...
Joshua and Micah's province.
It is much warmer here. :)
We are staying in the same hotel we were in back in November.
It is nice to be back in familiar territory.
We've already made one Walmart run...
a fifteen minute walk down the busiest street you can imagine.
Bikes, carts, cars, taxis, buses and scooters everywhere!
We bought a cheap stroller which we used as our cart to walk back.
We got some pretty strange looks from the locals...
two Americans walking the street with a stroller and no baby!
Last night we met Clay Williams, Pam's husband.
They are the couple who started the Swallow's Nest,
Joshua's foster home.
We met Pam back in November
and she took us to both of the houses Joshua had lived in.
You probably recognize her from our pictures from last time...
It was really special to meet her husband, Clay, last night.
She was unable to join us, though,
as she is in the states caring for her father who has been ill.
Clay took Tim and I, as well as the Leong family,
to a local coffee shop.
It was really nice to sit and talk with him
and to have him share with us more about
the orphans at Swallow's Nest.
It brought a lot of joy to our hearts to hear that
several of the children from Joshua's home,
who we were able to hold and hug last time,
now have forever families!
It was a LONG walk to the coffee shop from our hotel,
but we enjoyed taking in more of the sights and sounds
of Zhengzhou along the way.
We decided to take a taxi back. :)
During our adventure, we spotted a message
we'd like to pass on to our two little guys back home...
