On Saturday our Sunday School class threw us a shower
in celebration of the boys' homecoming!
It was a wonderful day with dear friends.
Although it was a time of lots of yummy food, fun,
games and special gifts,
the most meaningful part of all
was when they surrounded us and prayed over our family.
Thank you, everybody!
We are so blessed to call you our friends
and to have you as our brothers and sisters in Christ.

God's perfect provision...

We are really excited to share that we now have a minivan!
We were able to use our adoption tax credit to purchase one
from some friends of ours who were wanting to downsize.
Although the boys did really well crammed together in our corolla...
...it is wonderful to have more room for them,
and we are so, so grateful!
Who would have thought just four years ago
that I would be a minivan mom today?
Just loving it. :)
Once again we are seeing God's perfect provision in our lives,
and we give HIM all the praise.

National's Game!

Several weeks ago we took Braden
to his first Washington National's baseball game.
It was our gift to Tim's administrative assistant
(aka our friend Rachel) :) for her birthday.
Her dad (aka our friend Bryan) :) came with us, too.
It was a great day and so much fun watching Braden take it all in.
We taught him the song "Take Me Out to the Ballgame,"
so that he would be ready for the 7th inning stretch.
He sings it all the time now.
I think his favorite part of the game was getting a pretzel!

By the end of the day, little buddy was completely worn out.
We weren't on the road five minutes and he was out. :)

It was a wonderful Easter!

The boys and I traveled to SC for Easter.
The four of us traveled 5 hrs. each way
 in our little toyota corolla.
Those poor little boys were nearly on top of one another
in the back seat...their carseats were really squished in there!
 But they did amazing.
We had a really smooth ride both directions.
While in SC, the boys enjoyed seeing their grandparents
and their cousins, Madison and Caroline.
We were thankful for the opportunity to worship Sunday morning
at my brother and sister-in-law's church in Columbia.
Although they could not attend the service because my brother was sick,
we were able to drop by their house and see them for a few minutes,
and meet their baby boy for the first time...
our new little nephew, Jonathan Betts Powell!
I only wish we had been able to take pictures of him,
because he is adorable!
Here are some pictures and videos from our weekend.

A day at Busch Gardens...

One day a few weeks ago,
we took the boys to Busch Gardens Theme Park.
They really enjoyed it...
especially the Sesame Street Forest of Fun!

Lots of fun!

The boys are all doing really well.
These days, Braden really likes building things with his legos...
Joshua enjoys dressing (and undressing) himself...
you never know what he will come around the corner wearing!
...and Micah is usually smiling. :)
