Yesterday we spent a long time with approximately
100 other adopting families
at the medical center where each child received a medical exam.
The doctor said Anna Joy's heart sounds good.
We were thankful to hear that,
but will have her heart checked in the U.S. soon after we get home.
Heart defects are common in people with Down's Syndrome.
Braden gave her a sweet big brother hug and kiss
before she went in for her exam.
