Yesterday we enjoyed a walk through town
with a really nice family from Beaufort, SC.
They are adopting a little three year old girl named Jenessa.
They brought one of their grown daughters with them
from SC (in the black)
and their other daughter (in the green)
lives in a city a few hours from here where she volunteers
as a nurse for the babies at Maria's House of Hope.
They have a really amazing testimony,
as they have actually had Jenessa in their home in SC for two years
so that she could receive medical care for her tongue.
They have grown to love her like their own,
and have been praying for the Lord to make a way
for them to officially adopt her.
They knew they would have to get special permission
because of their ages, but God has made a way,
and they are so excited!
We spent some time walking through a really nice park.
And we found out a couple things about our little guy.
He likes his independence...like another little boy we know. :)
And he is not much for roller coasters. :)
The last stop on our walk was the golden arches...a taste of home!
And we returned to the hotel with one tired little dude!
