Tim asked Braden what color Mommy's hair was.
He said brown.
So, I asked him what color Daddy's hair was
and he answered, "Black and White."
Too funny. :)
Braden was telling me that he wanted to
get something first before his brothers.
I was explaining to him that it is important to let others go
before us and to think of others before ourselves.
Even though I knew it would be over his head,
I said, "In the Bible God says the first shall be last
and the last shall be first."
He said, "Yep, the first will be first
and the the last will be next." :)
Several days ago, as I was getting him breakfast,
Braden said, "Mommy, you are really beautiful."
What a sweetheart.
Then he and Daddy went to run some errands.
When they got home he presented me with
some of my favorite Bergey's cinnamon rolls,
WITH extra icing. :)
As he handed them to me, he whispered in my ear,
"Happy Mothers Week, Mommy." So sweet.
Then, later, as we were cleaning up dinner, he said,
"Mommy, you are a really good cooker."
On the menu that night...a frozen pizza. :)
This morning Tim took Braden with him to church early.
When I got there with the little boys
and was taking Braden to his Sunday school class he said,
"Mommy, Daddy and I got your flowers!"
I said, "That is so sweet, buddy!
Did Daddy want you to tell me that?"
"Oh no," he said, "Daddy told me not to tell you...whoops...
...oh, Mommy, your card has a monkey on it!" :)
Later today, it was time for me to decide
where I wanted to go for Mother's Day dinner.
Braden said, "Mommy, pick up a mine!"
I kept asking him to repeat himself because
I couldn't understand what he was telling me.
Then it hit me...he was trying to say,
"Mommy, make up your mind!"
It was really cute. :)
How cute. I love the "whoops" part - love it. Hugs and kisses!
