Life in the Zittle house is new and exciting every day!
Although, I must admit, it has sometimes been a bit exhausting
chasing two little balls of energy around the house
and putting fires out (which I am not used to.) :)
The past two weeks have been a blessing in so many ways,
but have definitely not been without their challenges.
Like two days ago when both boys were sick
with coughs and snotty noses,
really grumpy and complete worst enemies.
That was not so bad, until one threw up at the dinner table
and the other pooped in the bath tub. Oh, the joys. :)
But, we are all adjusting amazingly well,
and the transition has been so much better
than we had anticipated!
It feels like Joshua has been here with us
a lot longer than just two weeks.
He is a sweet and spunky little guy, and he gives great hugs!
Braden is a loving and caring big brother to him.
He is starting to say a couple of words like "hi" and "book,"
and now waves back at you when you wave to him.
He is still not a morning person, :)
but he is a great sleeper, usually sleeping through the night
from 8pm-8am and taking 3 hour naps.
He no longer has night terrors,
so for that we are extremely grateful!
He loves slides, legos and playing in my tupperware cabinet.
He and Braden are getting more comfortable
around each other every day.
They love to play chase around the house
and play duets on the piano. :)
Here are some pictures from the past week.
so precious! I love hearing the update...I know, from hearing from other adoptive families, to keep up the prayers after you get home! I know it must be such a huge transition! I love seeing all the pictures! Will you remind us again of their age difference? I can't remember! They are going to be the best of friends!!
