Two adorable boys, soon to be THREE, ages 3, 2, and 1!

We'd like to introduce you to our soon to be 3rd son,
16 month old Qiu Hau.
We hope to be leaving for China to bring him HOME
in 4-6 weeks!!!
(This is the most recent photo we've been given.
It was taken when he was 11 months old.)

Powell family Christmas...

We were thankful we could all be together at my parents house
in SC this week.
It was Joshua's first time meeting his
aunts, uncles and cousins on my side of the family!
His cousins loved him right away,
and he warmed up to them more and more each day.
By the end of the week, as we all went our separate ways,
he was giving hugs and saying "bye-bye." :)
Joshua went to Aunt Kori easily from the start.
Jim and Kori's baby, Oria, and Joshua,
enjoyed their rides in the wagon.
John and Ashley's oldest, Madison.
Jim and Kori's son, Nate,
with Braden and Caroline, John and Ashley's youngest.
Tim and Braden enjoyed a boat ride on the lake
with Jim and Kori's oldest, Lina.
John got Hot Wheels! Sorry to disappoint you, little brother,
but it's actually just a SC Gamecock's polo shirt inside. :)
Mom's real Tebow jersey wasn't shipped in time,
so the kids made her one. :)
Mom and Dad's Christmas gift to each other was a beautiful fire pit.
S'Mores...yum, yum...and a sticky mess!
Braden and Oria playing a duet.
Joshua..."May I please join in!"
Watching Veggie Tales with Uncle Tim.
John, Tim and Dad enjoy a candlelight dinner.
Lots of good memories made!

"Beck" the halls! :)

Our little singin' man with his Christmas debut of
"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree."

Zittle family Christmas...

We enjoyed our 3 days in MD with Tim's parents
and his sister, Robin.
Braden really enjoyed spending time with Mr. Jeff
and his dog, Higgins, too!
Joshua wasn't really sure what to think of Higgins. :)
We missed Tim's brother Steve and his family,
but are thankful that we can spend time with them
often in VA Beach.

We love our Daddy!

Braden likes to sing and play the piano...

Braden likes to compose his own songs these days.
I love hearing him express what is in his heart through them!

Adjusting well...

Life in the Zittle house is new and exciting every day!
Although, I must admit, it has sometimes been a bit exhausting
chasing two little balls of energy around the house
and putting fires out (which I am not used to.) :)
The past two weeks have been a blessing in so many ways,
but have definitely not been without their challenges.
Like two days ago when both boys were sick
with coughs and snotty noses,
really grumpy and complete worst enemies.
That was not so bad, until one threw up at the dinner table
and the other pooped in the bath tub. Oh, the joys. :)
But, we are all adjusting amazingly well,
and the transition has been so much better
than we had anticipated!
It feels like Joshua has been here with us
a lot longer than just two weeks.
He is a sweet and spunky little guy, and he gives great hugs!
Braden is a loving and caring big brother to him.
He is starting to say a couple of words like "hi" and "book,"
and now waves back at you when you wave to him.
He is still not a morning person, :)
but he is a great sleeper, usually sleeping through the night
from 8pm-8am and taking 3 hour naps.
He no longer has night terrors,
so for that we are extremely grateful!
He loves slides, legos and playing in my tupperware cabinet.
He and Braden are getting more comfortable
around each other every day.
They love to play chase around the house
and play duets on the piano. :)
Here are some pictures from the past week.
