Micah Dean, 1yr.
Joshua Kenneth, 2 yrs.
Braden Thomas, 3 yrs.
They sure do keep their Mommy busy.
One of my favorite times during the day is when Daddy comes home!
But not just because I'm tired...
although that is often an understatement. :)
It's because these three little boys adore him,
and I love watching them run to him.
He is amazing with them.
We are enjoying life as a family of 5.
The bonds between us grow stronger each day,
and we are each (especially Mommy and Daddy)
learning more about dying to self and serving the others.

Braden has joyfully embraced his new role as the biggest brother,
and is, for the most part, really caring toward the little ones.
He does get in trouble sometimes
for using force to try to assert himself over them,
and we will continue to work through this.
One day one of them is going to pop him a good one,
and then it will be lesson learned!

Joshua is doing really well and talking more and more.
He seems content most of the time to play by himself.
He is a very independent little guy.
He doesn't often sit still,
so we relish those moments
when he wants to crawl up onto our laps to read a book or cuddle.
He is a joy and very entertaining!
Micah is definitely our cuddle-bug.
He loves to be held,
and so far, he is a really laid back little guy.
We have had some issues with his health,
so he has seen his share of hospital rooms and doctors' offices
over the past few weeks.
Each night we are having to give him a breathing treatment,
and although he fought it at first,
he now sits quietly with this crazy mask over his nose and mouth.
It is pitiful to watch...poor little guy.
He is such a sweet and beautiful child though,
and already, in only 4 weeks of having him,
we can't even begin to imagine life without him.
It's not often that a family goes from being a family of 3 to a family of 5
in less than 5 months,
with the exception of twins, of course.
It has definitely not been easy, but it has been beautiful.
We have seen, and continue to see, God do countless miracles
throughout our adoption journey
and are just immensely blessed and grateful
to be a part of a story so beautiful that only God could write.
So many of you are, and have been, a part of this story, too!
